Context

I built this system at Moffett Automation, where I work as a Robotics & AI Software Engineer. It is an internal tool used inside Moffett, and one of the three systems I have in production.

What it does: I built from scratch a production platform for large document collections. It validates required fields and expected values, detects inconsistencies, contract-critical requirements and subtle specification changes across engineering and commercial documents, and tracks dependencies across business units.

I defined its configurable validation rules with the sales, engineering and finance teams.

How it works:

  • Document-specific evaluation layers validate required fields and expected values, and detect inconsistencies, contract-critical requirements and subtle specification changes.
  • Cross-document orchestration keeps related documents consistent and tracks dependencies across business units: a change in one source document is propagated to related project documents.
  • Iterative human-in-the-loop completion, revalidation and update approval, with source-linked findings and an audit trail of changes.
  • AI-assisted generation, validation and continuous updating of engineering specifications, financial documentation, tender documents and technical schematics.
  • It integrates corporate data sources and APIs, with quality evaluation on real documents, retry and recovery mechanisms, and reusable workflows for new document types.
